Our jewellery is nickel-free and finished with an extra protective coating designed to help preserve the finish of each piece. This makes our jewellery a great option for many people with sensitive skin. However, everyone's skin is different, and we recommend contacting us before purchasing if you have a known metal allergy.

Our jewellery is not waterproof. We recommend removing your pieces before showering, swimming, exercising or washing your hands. Avoiding prolonged contact with water, chlorine, salt water and chemicals will help preserve the finish and extend the life of your jewellery.

Over time, jewellery can naturally change in appearance due to exposure to moisture, chemicals, perfumes, perspiration and everyday wear. Proper care and storage will help keep your jewellery looking beautiful for longer.

To keep your jewellery looking beautiful for longer, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, soaps, household cleaning products and other chemicals. Remove your jewellery before showering, swimming, exercising, washing your hands or doing household chores.

Avoid strong impacts and excessive friction, and store each piece separately to help prevent scratches.

To clean your jewellery, gently wipe it with a soft cloth. For pieces with pearls, extra care is recommended as perfumes, sweat and water may damage them.

We currently ship throughout New Zealand, including rural addresses. We also offer international shipping.

Standard shipping within New Zealand is $8, while rural delivery is $15. We offer free shipping on orders over $120.

International shipping is $20.

Standard and rural orders within New Zealand are usually delivered within 3–5 business days.

International orders generally take 5–8 business days.

We offer a 14-day change-of-mind return period for eligible items. Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and wait for return instructions before sending your item back.

Items must be unused, unworn and unaltered, in their original saleable condition with all original packaging, tags and protective materials intact. Proof of purchase is required.

Yes. Sale or clearance items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. Earrings cannot be returned or exchanged once their hygiene seal, protective packaging or presentation has been opened, removed or compromised.

For approved change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping. We recommend using a tracked service.

If your item is faulty, arrives damaged, is materially different from its description or the wrong item was supplied, please contact us at support@safirajewellery.co.nz with your order number, a description of the issue and photographs where reasonably available.

Safira Jewellery comes with a 1-year warranty covering eligible manufacturing and plating issues, subject to our warranty terms and conditions.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by drops, accidents, improper use, excessive impact, normal wear and tear, or contact with chemicals and substances that may damage the jewellery.

If an item cannot be repaired under the warranty conditions, we may provide a replacement of the same or a similar item of equivalent value.
